Carlos Prieto-Alvarez was one of the first three doctoral candidates accepted to CIC’s new Learning Analytics PhD Program in 2016.
So very well done Carlos, as today sees the publication of your thesis, one of the first PhDs in Learning Analytics devoted to the contributions of human-centred design methods (specifically, co-design) investigating how to give non-technical stakeholders, such as educators and students, a voice in shaping Learning Analytics. Our thanks to supervisors Simon Buckingham Shum and Roberto Martinez-Maldonado, and not forgetting Theresa Anderson for supervising over the first year or so.
