This internal workshop brought together academics and professional staff who have been piloting the Crick Learning for Resilient Agency (CLARA) dispositional analytics tool in a range of contexts across UTS.
We shared and discussed the findings of the CLARA pilot evaluation, before moving on to consider how we can collaborate to build capacity to further develop and embed it as analytics tool for evidence-based teaching and research.
The report, workshop and associated resources are the deliverables resulting from the ITD-funded Pilot Project conducted jointly by a cross-UTS team: Ruth Crick (CIC, Institute of Sustainable Futures & School of Education), Simon Buckingham Shum (CIC), Ming Ming Cheng (Business School & IML), & Georgina Barratt-See (Higher Education Language & Presentation Support), project managed by Peter Harrold (ITD).
Key insights have been summarised in a peer-reviewed paper to be presented at the forthcoming UniSTARS national conference:
Georgina Barratt-See, Mingming Cheng, Ruth Deakin Crick & Simon Buckingham Shum (2017). Assessing Resilient Agency with CLARA: Empirical Findings from Piloting a Visual Analytics Tool at UTS.
